How can the timeline of Quentin and Elliot getting the key be erased if Quentin giving the key to Jane Chatwin is how she was able to make the time loops to take down the Beast? Though I guess it wasn't entirely erased if they somehow got their memories of it back for some currently unexplained reason. I guess it wasn't erased so much as just the timeline diverged. Since them getting the key and Quentin sending the note to Margo is how Margo interferes, so obviously it has to have happened in order for it to not happen.
