I just see more significance on the nation that raised you from birth, over the one you were only in for a few months that gave you away. and she has been a korean citizen for 3 years because it takes years to prepare and they planned to invite her to the team 3 years ago. they are only using her. if she wasn't a sports star, they wouldn't have offered her citizenship. my sister is chinese and lived in china longer than this girl was in korea. she was adopted into my family at age 8. and even SHE doesn't have chinese citizenship. china tore it up when she was granted US citizenship in the adoption. and if she went to the olmpics she would want to be on the US team. she has mixed feelings about how China treated her as a child.
