Most people didn't get that true mess He's sort of right. Peele said that a big part of his intention was to show the passive or "benign" racism of lots of white liberals that basically makes us feel good about not being "as racist" as the hillbillies and hicks who are more often seen as overtly racist. He's wrong about the "true racists" part because that implies that only one side is racist when Peele was trying to demonstrate that racism is racism is racism and that being a white liberal with good intentions doesn't exempt you from being a racist just the same as the "others" with pitchforks in Alabama or wherever. --- #thingsliberalssay ...
