We have the technology to realize these worlds, characters and battles, and you would rather just Look at them then engage in them. I mean thats the biggest dealbreaker about turn based for me. We got one turn based FF7, we got to see what that feels like. How much better is that really going to be with todays technology? There are prettier sprites and backgrounds for you to stare at while select an action from a menu and you watch cool things happen on screen? Id actually like to take part in performing the cool shit on screen, interacting with the environment and getting fully immersed into the world. We have the technology for that these days.
