"character archetypes" does not mean "character aesthetics" Moreso than any other country Japan seems all too willing to dive headfirst in a pool of the most generic cookie-cutter archetypes imaginable. The surly little girl but oh she's actually thousands of years old so it's "okay" to want to fuck her "tsundere" archetype is of particular note for being one of the single worst things in existence, and Japan LOVES that character. --- I am snazzier, hot, hot rant.
