The two are not mutually exclusive. Indeed, one of the most important parts of freedom of speech is the freedom to be disrespectful. It would be wrong to eg. arrest them for it. There's nothing wrong with calling them out for it.

Yeah I'll agree that there's nothing necessarily wrong with calling them out, since again, this is America and they are using that same freedom to call them out on it without getting in trouble. But it is a bit hypocritical to voice one's opinion on someone else voicing their opinion.
