| SRR Capdown 02/06/18 5:34:30 AM #39: | When I was 18 I had glandular fever (I think it's called mono in America). I missed nearly 3 months of 6th Form with it, but had to go in for a week of exams, which was absolute hell. My neck was sore and swollen, I could barely eat solid foods and any I did hurt going down, I had really high temp and fever, zero energy and just massive fatigue and varying other cold and flu symptoms that seemed to come and go as they pleased. For 3 months. I'm 30 now and still feel the effects. I get sick much easier and whenever I do I'm hit with really bad fatigue. I also had food poisoning a few years ago. Went out to eat with my dad, our work colleague and his friend and we all got it. I spent the whole night sat on the toilet, with my head over the bath throwing up into it. Wasnt right for another few days. My uncle has us all beat here though. He got food poisoning about 15 years ago that left him paralysed from the waist down for a year.
