Yeah, I played and loved the game. But something to note about the anime, Nasu was always disappointed that he wasn't able to make Extra into what he truly envisioned back then. This was due to both hardware restraints of the psp and his number one enemy, deadlines. He oversaw the production of the Extra anime so it is safe to say this version of the story is what he envisioned or close to it. The framework for the world and the characters in the game are all there, but it's going about the story in a much different approach to where even I don't know where it will go.
