So I guess investopedia wrong? Because the fifth method is exactly what Im doing and they classify it as shorting. Or do you not understand the term is used broadly in the financial world And I dont make my own trade decisions, I get advice from someone who is a professional trader and been trading bitcoin for years, his advice has worked out very well thus far in a bear market

Where did I say it was wrong? I'm saying by talking like you are, you come off as even more of a novice then if you just kept it simple and used normal accepted terminology. Not technicalities. You're trying to sound like you're doing something exceptional and not regular day trading.

Also if you were really getting advice from a professional trader, I doubt you'd be bragging about the small gains you are getting. You also can't speak on the trading world when someone else is doing your work, so the rest of your post kind of falls apart.
