Romulox28 02/05/18 9:36:51 AM #3: | first and foremost it's not as tight as Nioh's gameplay, and I definitely think Bloodborne feels a bit floatier and not as responsive. In terms of sheer options Nioh offers a pretty significant difference in options (stances, more variety in weapons, the whole ki mechanic, etc). If you've played Dark Souls 3, Bloodborne is like a more fast-paced version of that imo. Basically you have the same type of combat, only every weapon in BB is a "trick" weapon (so it has two styles, and you can switch it in mid combat), your healing items don't replenish at checkpoints, and in your left hand you now have a gun that you use for parries edit: in terms of overall gameplay design and not just combat, nioh is a mission-based dark souls ripoff. i really did not like Nioh --- ...
