Didn't it also say that even starting in second gear, based on the spreadsheet, still couldn't reach the time he allegedly got? There won't be anyone else for that Guinness world record spot, I don't think. Since there's nobody who holds (and keeps ahold of) enough records at any point these days unless they're ones with a physical hard limit, in which case those usually end up tied within a year or two. And for speed runs themselves, there's not really enough frame perfect ones held by a single person. Ones like Pokemon with werster keep getting shifted back and forth between two or three players. And that Mario guy keeps topping his old records by literal hundredths of a second if they aren't being beat by his two rivals. But the Mario guy only plays Mario games.
