Topic	The First Purge teaser trailer

I remember when I was in college, and the first Purge was coming out and from the premise it sounded like something that could be adapted into a great drama about what it means to be civil, to have morals and ethics, is it worth killing someone even if you're allowed to? I was minoring in sociology at the time, so the ideas of what could be done with a movie like it was pretty great. btw the Purge 2 dealt with that theme. if I remember right. the hero of the movie ~~finally got a chance to kill a guy he wanted revenge on. but when the moment came....he ended up letting him go.~~ See, stuff like that is what the entire franchise should have been about. Ordinary people struggling to go through with the actions they always had thought about, fantasized about, but never actually did until the opportunity came along. I dunno, maybe there's more of stuff like that in the series than the trailers let on.
