unless human history is older than we think. there is actually a map from like 500 or more years ago that shows Antarctica even though it hadnt been discovered yet. furthermore it's depicted on the map as being unfrozen. People have been theorizing other continents long before the age of exploration, especially terra australis (what Antarctica is and what Australia was named after). They drew it in for funsies just like they drew in sea monsters and shit.

Everything else in your post is 100% wishful conjecture that is disproven by many, many things in history.
