the game is deeply flawed but that doesnt mean people can't still find it fun. Some people just have trouble enjoying games that lack technical competency since it makes the game an exercise in frustration when random bullshit happens due to the server deciding to update at 1Hz or trying to hit a guy with 400 ping. Being popular does not invalidate criticism of the game(and especially not criticism that has been around since day 1 but was handwaved by saying "its in beta!"), but the fact the game has issues doesnt mean it can't be fun for some people. I mean ffs I put like 70 hours in it before the technical problems made me move on. I can see the appeal but at some point I got tired of inconsistent bullshit that was never getting fixed and moved on.
