I don't know how well a bean diet would go. Consult a nutritionist. They definitely need more than rice and beans to live. Omnivore means that they need proteins as well as they need vitamins. It doesn't mean that they can get away with it only eating meat or vegetals. If I'm wrong please elighten me.
