What are your thoughts on mace, knives, swords, stun-guns, etc (non-lethal weapons)
Knifes and swords I wouldn't consider non-lethal but about non-lethal weapons in particular, I wouldn't expect them to be as effective as a deterrent but also consider that the aggressor could have a gun even if they're illegal, and here you are with a can of mace.
I don't really know a lot about it but I wouldn't guess a handgun or civil semi-auto rifle had much disadvantage against an illegally-obtained fully-automatic rifle if it's just you and the aggressor. At least not ad much so as a knife.
I don't have any weapons, actually. I do have this one giant knife I got as a gift once but it's more of a hunting knife I think, and I can't tell you where it is in my house. Probably the closet.
Where do you draw the line on what kind of weapons someone can own? Semi-automatic assault rifle? Fully auto machine guns? Gatling gun? Nuclear missile launcher?
