I mean compare Yoshi's Island with Poochy and Yoshi's Wooly World. Sure, I like P&Y. It's a fun game. Good design. Nice customization. But what happened to Yoshi licking his lips when he eats a star/heart? What happened to the nifty storybook aesthetic? Does Yoshi even look up when he jumps?
