In the prairie provinces at least, if you aren't a social butterfly and a huge alcoholic then you're automatically a creep and a drain on society. If your a socially awkward guy like me you'll be ostracized and alienated. My best friendships have been formed through online gaming, Americans specifically from California seem like really cool people. Sometimes I feel like I was born in the wrong Country and I would've been treated better elsewhere. It's kinda like that Tim Allen quote: Women now have choices. They can be married, not married, have a job, not have a job, be married with children, unmarried with children.
