That's just how it is. Whining won't change. Ideally we would have no nukes, because they are so destructive. But there are nukes, and countries who's motivations are unclear to us, and who we have had problems with in the past have nukes. We can't be left in the dust by any country who might want to do us harm. That's how you stay ahead of the game and survive. We aren't the best, and most powerful country in the world for no reason. A lot of that is largely due to our military.
