| Topic | I have no idea what I will do when my cat dies |
| Doctor Foxx 01/30/18 6:01:10 PM #11: | Moonjay posted... I sometimes think about adopting elderly cats, but I'm not sure I'm at a point where I could deal with losing cats just as the relationship got really close. Bad enough when I lost my four year old cat. I have adopted cats who were a few years old though! when I adopted Nosy he was aged at 5 years. I had him just over 2 years before the health issues started and just over 3 before he passed. He was my BFF. We slept together and when we did that he would curl up in my arm and put is paw in my hand. He followed me all the places. We could talk just by blinking and stretching. I could seriously get that cat purring, drooling, and shuddering from across a room just with body language. He was so special and I'll never meet a cat like him again, but I'm so happy that he got a nice few years with me where he was loved and spoiled. Even with all the heartache and debt it was worth it. He had a home and he was loved, and his memory lives on with me --- Never write off the Doctor! ... Copied to Clipboard! |
