| ZeroSignal620 01/30/18 3:12:20 PM #1: | Nier: Automata defeated Nioh 17-3 Uncharted: LL defeated Sonic Mania 9-6 Doki Doki defeated South Park 13-7 Resident Evil 7 defeated Evil Within 2 13-3 Holy hell @ Automata. Nioh's a great game, but Nier's showing why it got the top overall seed in the tournament. No upsets for the first region in round 2, though South Park looked good for the first half of its match before DDLC ultimately ran away with it. Stick of Truth made the 2014 finals; Fractured But Whole doesn't make it out of round 2. Also, RE7 wins the battle of survival horror titles, but it's not completely lost for The Evil Within for two reasons: One, EW2 won't be the Ultimate Loser like its predecessor, and it also lost to a better survival horror game than what its predecessor did.
