For some reason I thought that back in the early 2000s (and even more so in the 90s and 80s) there was a strict rule against guys dying their hair, sort of like guys using pink or crying. Like, it's dumb, but well, gender roles aren't exactly smart to begin with.
not true at all. early 2000s is when i went to junior high and high school, and there were always more guys with bleached hair or just frosted tips than guys with natural hair. it was basically an epidemic.
