That's probably because LotR had a very successful movie trilogy and Narnia sorta kinda dropped off after Prince Caspian.

Did they even make any other movies afterwards?

They made The Voyage of the Dawn Treaderin 2010.
The Silver Chair is supposed to be filmed in late 2018.

Huh, I didn't know that. I just assumed they stopped making them after Prince Caspian.

Disney left after the second movie and Fox did the third.
Then the license expired and nobody could touch it for a couple of years for some reason, and now Sony is making the fourth movie, or something like that.

I think it's more like nobody wanted to touch it. Disney screwed the series by desperately wanting the 2005 lion witch wardrobe movie to be the next lord of the rings, and advertising it as such instead of a kids' movie.
