So I work with them from pre-construction walkouts all the way to the point they run a drop to your house. Here's the flat out truth. ISPs are crooked assholes. In the 4 years I've been dealing with them government regulations only came up once. It was when the FCC made a term of the Charter/Time Warner merger that they had to run overbuild. That was a good regulation. It meant that if there was only one ISP in your area, they had to share the pole lines or conduit with them, the competition. Guess what The current administration just lifted that rule. So don't blame the government for the problems with ISPs. They pretty much make their own rules, that's why they suck. I can give you a laundry list of the shady shit they do on a regular basis, if you feel like hating them even more. You don't even want to know why your bill is so high, and the degree to which the completely waste money. It's staggering. --- Most people are other people.
