Basically, my already simmering frustration with how powerful grapple attacks are in this game was combined with that being the only move they do apparently, on top of the rapid build up of frenzy they inflict. I died so many times there. It's funny because when I finally finished with that area, I moved on to make it to Mergo's Wet Nurse (an absolute joke of a fight, by the way), and got invaded by a dude named "Willy". Fairly certain it wasn't an NPC invader, but I wrecked his shit pretty hard. Felt rather cathartic. I also beat Ludwig the Accursed last night. --- Face it Cloud is a gaming icon and has appered in lots of games while mario has only appeared in 2 games sunshine and 64~xSlashbomBx ...
