Although, unlike the Trainee boost, the Veteran penalty was only given to characters that were in the game from the start. Even if they wanted to keep things consistent due to Fae, Young Tiki and Nowi getting Trainee status, they could have artificially removed the generic recent unit buff that Myrrh got. --- This was not the best year for my bracket.
