The most sensible explanation I can think of is GameFAQs is, despite Allen's constant bitching to the contrary, dying. So presumably Gamespot has better numbers, and they're hoping that carries over to FAQs in a merger. Or it's all horseshit and this is just a step in dismantling GameFAQs as a whole. I find that far more likely.
