ESPN literally just broadcasted ABC News. Actually, that was a thing. For anyone who noticed, it was the first time it became clearly obvious as to how homogenized the broadcasting industry had become. Yeah, as I recall literally every station was carrying news, so you saw what parent company was behind each station because you really only had like 5 or 6 different channels broadcast across 70 stations or whatever.
