| Topic | C/D - Pokemon B/W2 was the last really good mainline Pokemon game. |
| Gafemage 01/23/18 10:16:15 PM #14: | B/W1 were the last Pokemon games I really enjoyed, even if, in retrospect, they basically sparked the series' downfall. I tried playing a couple hours of B/W2, but for some reason it didn't suck me in like all the previous Pokemon games I'd played at the time. I will say that X/Y was the point where I for sure was done with the series; Mega Pokemon, the transition to 3D, and just how the game felt for me compared to previous installments killed any remaining interest I had in the franchise (I still enjoy playing the older games, though). --- ...
