I don't think I'll see the day where typing on a keyboard is considered a physical activity. Often these injuries are from repetitive motions and strain anyway. Not exactly pushing your physical limits.

A physical action and a physical activity aren't the same thing

in the very first paragraph of the article you linked
"Physical activity is any form of exercise or movement of the body that uses energy."
energy is "used" when a force is exerted to move a mass a distance
moving your finger to hit a key requires a force and is therefore using energy

Then how come doctors literally never recommend video games as a physical activity?

it doesn't matter because by his own definition video games are physical activity

It's actually considered sedentary.
