Topic	How have there been two official Metroid remakes but none for Mario or Zelda?

I've seen people regard the Satellaview version of Zelda as a remake, but I've also seen gameplay video of it that looks like a fairly different game (kind of like a "third quest"). The Mario Advance/All-Stars versions were just enhanced ports, I think, They literally remade the games from scratch, though they are extremely similar in gameplay and level design to the NES originals.
