I had to take a college semester off just to get back to normal to who I am inside before this brainwash tried to change who I am inside.

"My worldview was challenged, so I had to bury my head in the sand for a semester."

It certainly was because I'm an immigrant who legally moved to America in 1999. 2 years later a bunch of people died. So you don't really understand the shock and horror that was not comprehensible to a young kid at the time.

In my opinion, you should probably just drop the class, since it seems like a waste of your time, money, in addition to being detrimental to your health. Is it required for your major?

Taking social sciences is required for a degree, I've already switched majors and dropped classes before. Been going to college for a few years already now.

Who cares? It's a sociology class. You weren't going to learn anything useful anyway.

Wish I had taken Anthropology instead but didn't look into it much and this Sociology class fit in with my schedule really well.

Why, because she mentioned Marxism?

Believe it or not, Communism isn't part of the Democratic/Liberal platform. Surprising, I know. If you call that brainwash, you might just accidentally be getting an education.

Karl Marx is part of the thing we're studying about in Sociology class, then some dude mentioned it on the same day. Today, she mentioned the actual word "Marxism".

Of course not. Socialism is more on the democratic/liberal platform. And just yesterday I was looking up the "Black Power" movement which had Malcolm X in the early stages but he and Martin Luther King Jr got assassinated quite quickly in the span of a few years close to each other. The point is, the wiki said that the "Black Power" movement supported socialism which was kinda like... "meh".

Ah yes the old ICOYAR I was being brainwashed by liberals and thats why I dropped out of college and wont look for a job thing

Good look

Where they been?? lol. I can't stand modern liberals. I had an old school liberal for one of my communication classes at a leftist-heavy college up north last year. She didn't cause any weird problems but she actually was hating the college quite a bit. She couldn't hold back how tormented she was feeling. She was a nice lady who didn't try brainwashing her own students but offered them a friendly environment to express different view points around the world.
