This is a good point Vulgorn posted... its still more money you'd have been working that day anyway, so if you're the time that needs to mentally prepare yourself to work for the day, you should've already done that. now if you were called in to work a 12 hour shift on your day off, then maybe you'd have a case to complain, but as it is, you're literally just complaining about money in your pocket.
