The other main points of interest there are Kinkakuji, Ginkakuji, Kiyomizudera, Nijou Castle, and Arashi Mountain (in addition to a bunch of other places). Just make sure to set aside a couple days for Kyoto since all of those places can get really crowded. --- What's the difference between a pickpocket and a peeping tom?
