On one hand, the enemies have greater health, but their attack power is more measured over comparable vanilla enemies, which generally results in more balanced combat. On the other hand, their special powers are ridiculously OP; while this can be frustrating at times, it does force you to fall back and flee / go on the defensive until their powers wear off.
