I mean everything I was gonna say was basically already covered but to sum up:

- They'll have their own classics. While the gaming industry kind of sucks overall, games are still a hell of a lot more amazing these days than they were like 20 years ago and it's only going to get better from there. I don't pity the future I envy it

- Classic games are getting re-released and remastered and remade so much it's not very difficult to still be exposed to them anyway

- The indie gaming scene pretty much cements their longevity and ease of accessibility for newer generations, so, good on you, indie scene

Really the only games that suffer are the ones in the awkward 3D phase of PS1/N64.

Although some maybe more than others. Going back to play something like Legend of Dragoon from PS1 today isn't as jarring as King's Field, for someone unfamiliar with both, because the former is a turn-based JRPG (with hilarious localization at points), whereas King's Field is a first person action adventure RPG. Made back before PS controllers had joysticks. ...Think about that.

I am snazzier, hot, hot rant. Warily slight as.
Croak rush, OK? Weirder, almighty make out. ::)
