scarletspeed7 01/20/18 12:01:52 PM #64:	The writing quality was not up to the level of Suikoden 2 (at least as far I recall). Honestly, this writing was just a step above Breath of Fire II. I enjoyed the game a lot - I'm a sucker for massive recruitment and party size-related shenanigans. As for the main plot, however, I found it pretty flimsy. There was a lot of potential that was wasted, but you could see it from time to time in many of the side characters. I'm really looking forward to my S2 run now that I've played S1 for the first time.
