I used to think that the ps4 controller was terrible compared to the ps3 controller, but after getting used to it, it's probably my favorite PlayStation controller. The light doesn't bother me at all, neither does the charge time(although I am very close to an outlet and my ps4, so charging is not an issue).

Xbox controllers are decent, but the pad is always bad, imo.

placement of the joycon controller greatly depends on the game. All the controllers are fine though, and I really don't have an issue using any of them unless it's the 360 controller for a game the mainly uses the d-pad.
