For what it's worth this is not the same person who went through the whole Phoenix thing. This is time displaced teenage X-Men recruit Jean Grey, who isn't as disciplined as she will be. Adult Iceman comes out shortly before this, which I'm willing to grant because some people do come out later in life and he's got a couple decades of experience. This younger Iceman is like twelve though and a transplant from the 70's. Neither of their politics should be this modern without substantial character development which just isn't here. --- Whatever happened to standards?
