Topic	A coworker has the same name and it feels weird being called short version.
IslamMD 01/19/18 4:58:40 PM #1:	Basically we work together and it feels weird being referred to as the short version. I won't use real name but let's say my name is Michael. People who know me and him call me Mike. They call the other Michael the full version. I have never went by the short version and my name isn't as common as Michael. There are also situations where people who I haven't met at work will say "hey do you know where I could find Michael" and I say i'm here or that's me. And it leads to awkward situation where they realize they didn't know my name or that two people have same name and go "oh...I mean the other one." --- Kevin Durant. Lord of the Warriors.
