| Rockies 01/19/18 3:10:45 PM #17: | I'll buy lottery tickets every once in a while but I'm starting to question why. I know I have no chance of winning, but why waste the money when that's the case? And if I did win, I would be pretty freaked out by the possible dangers. I guess the best-case scenario for me would be getting a modestly large prize (like six figures) but I could just play scratch tickets since those jackpots are much lower. Plus with scratch tickets you actually win sometimes. It's not much, but even just winning enough that you can get a free drink next time you go to the gas station is kind of nice ...
