This spoils the ending. Goku obviously loses and the universe gets erased.
I think I would be okay with this. Goku, in his attempt to be the best, finally sacrifices everything in his quest to be the strongest. I once had a very similar mindset. Sometimes contentment can be virtuous. Goku never learns this.
If it happened theyd only be erased for a few minutes before Jiren brings them back with the Super Dragon Balls. Probably every universe too because of course that will happen. Or the Zenos will be like ooo that was fun lets bring everyone back so we can have more tournaments later. ---
