i only believe in putting a dog down because of terminal illness or it gets too sick. that's the only reasons.

I once read a story about how a guy had to move and couldn't take his dog with him. So he took his dog to a forest, fed him his best meal of his life, and put a bullet to the back of his dog's head. When his friends gave him flack for it, he retorted, bringing up how he refused to let his dog live in a dreary shelter and how no one stepped up to the plate to adopt his dog.

That story hit me kind of hard. I don't know what I'd do if I had to give up my dog before his time.

Wow... Yeah thats a rough one.

i don't agree with that one, if cannot take the dog. best to have it brought to either a vet or the pound to have it euthanized. a bullet is not a valid option. only in cases where one cannot find a home for the dog or don't want to leave it at an animal shelter.

i faced this situation about 5 years ago, would of tried to find my dog a home. but thankfully i was able to take it with me to where i live currently (it's going to enjoy its remaining years) until it gets cancer or quality of life isn't great.

I'd hate to be that guy. he'll be dodging freak accidents for the rest of his life now. Final Destination rules - RickyTheBAWSE
