I haven't read the comics, though I remember wanting to in the last 5 years but never did get the series. I'm somewhat glad I didn't since judging by reaction to the show I'd probably end up disliking the show if I read the comics first and expected the plot of the comics. It does kind of kill me how incompetent the Pride is in the show. I was honestly wondering if it was parody when they had the 2 dads roaming the streets looking for a homeless dude to "sacrifice". And then when the homeless dude fights back and kicks their asses lol. Or how at least one member of each couple is utterly useless. I think it's really just victor stein's wife that seems completely useless. The others are stated to be skilled in their respective fields like technology, biology, lawyering and gangstering/real estate.
