Peach's Castle The Mushroom Kingdom is already perfect nostalgia on its own, but when coupled with a fully orchestrated remake of the castle theme, it legit gave me chills. When I saw the first painting, I squealed like a little kid and made the BABABA BA BA BAH noises as I jumped in, only for them to actually happen. There were few moments in gaming this year that made me feel quite as giddy as Mushroom Kingdom in general, and a lot of that had to do with the existence of this song.
