It's like someone one day went, "What if I wrote a character who is an asshole transparently trying to use that to cover up how they really feel so they're dumb and pathetic too?" and then everyone else was like, "What if I wrote the exact same character and put it into everything Japanese forever?!?!?" --- I am snazzier, hot, hot rant.
