Thats definitely WAY over the line. But Dawkins brought this crap on himself. Hes the one who takes every opportunity to post his own personal documents. Its not really our fault that one crazy nutter collected all his personal information. Dont post your shit on the internet.

He definitely brought it on himself, and CE isn't to blame for his problems. But we can at least agree that the people who do that kind of thing are shitty people right?

Its just like giving tips to women so they don't become victims of sexual assault. Y'know things like be careful to not accept drinks from strangers, try to have a friend with you at all times, basically just don't put yourself in vulnerable situations. Now if a woman ignores all of those things and acts incredibly recklessly and is sexually assaulted, the guy who did the assaulting is still a piece of shit no matter what. Of course online harassment isn't comparable to rape, which I know would be the first thing trolls would like to point out, but as usual the severity and level of heinousness of the act committed isn't relevant to the analogy at all.

So moving past that, I think its important to acknowledge that just because one side is wrong, doesn't mean the other side is right.
