How was it disgusting? The juror felt it was an accidental, and it clearly was. It was literally a freak accident.
Even if you want to debate it being an accident or not.. which he threw away the gun and ran away so that's already rough, but regardless.. The fact is he still killed someone. Which, if it is an accident, is still considered 1st degree manslaughter
He didn't get that charge. They weren't even arguing against it. There is no dispute that he killed her. But the jury, a bunch of anti trump liberals, wanted to "stick it to trump" and let him off on that one
