As for what was under consideration, I've decided not to include the 8-bit versions just to eliminate clutter. If people want me to, I guess I could do a separate list for those, but for the most part, it's just gonna be the same as the main list's versions. As for what to expect, I am a man that enjoys melodic, catchy tunes that I can listen to outside of actually playing the game. A lot of times after playing a great game, I'll put 1 or 2 of my favorite songs on my phone so I can listen to at work to remind me of how fun that game was. Well, part of the reason for me wanting to do this ranking in the first place is that I've ended up with TWELVE Mario Odyssey songs on my phone. This soundtrack overall is superb. Every song on this list (and probably half of the songs not on this list) is something I could tap my foot to and enjoy. With that, let's get to some of the songs that almost made it.....
