What has better fundamentals though? What else is working on REAL layer 2 tech to solve REAL scaling problems? ETH sure, but it serves a different purpose than BTC, and obviously you should hold it. But it doesn't mean you shouldn't hold BTC. Maybe Vertcoin looks pretty good. It fixes the ASIC problem of BTC, and I think works with Lightning and such. However what we've seen in 2017 is that it's more likely that a good idea will be added to BTC, rather than a new coin overtaking it just because it has a good idea.
